MicroEngine xPortalNet Server is the server-side platform for managing electronic access control and related security operations across single- or multi-site facilities. It centralizes administration of doors, controllers, users, and credentials; delivers real-time monitoring and alarm handling; and logs events for reporting and audit. The server brokers communication between field devices and client applications, hosts the web interface, and stores configuration and history in a database. Optional modules commonly cover time attendance, visitor management, elevator and car-park control, anti-passback, scheduling, and comprehensive reporting. Typically deployed on Windows in an on-premises environment, it scales from small installations to enterprise deployments. Capabilities and compatibility may vary by version and licensed modules.
